100 cases of dengue reported in Himachal's Kangra

Minimum hundred cases of dengue have been reported in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. The data was collected till October 10.

Chief Medical Officer of Kangra district, RS Rana, told the media sources that the health department has launched an awareness campaign to educate people about the preventive measures. This would prevent the disease from spreading.

According to the media reports, the ASHA workers are educating the people of all regions about various methods to prevent the disease from spreading. To kill the mosquitoes, the department has started with the fogging technique. this process will continue till November.

The chief medical officer told the sources that all the dengue cases have been recorded positive and are being treated well.

No death in the district has been reported so far.
