Come 4 June, travel from Chandigarh to Shimla in 20 minutes!
The 120-km distance between Chandigarh and Shimla will now be covered in just 20 minutes! What sounds like a dream is now a reality.
To promote hill tourism, the Himachal Pradesh government and national helicopter carrier Pawan Hans have deputed a 20-seater chopper to ferry passengers.
To start with, the service will be available every Monday and Friday at a minimum fare of 2,999.
The frequency will be increased depending upon the response, said the Chandigarh airport spokesperson Deepesh Joshi.
