Chandigarh: Father-son duo Killed a 27-year-old woman
Police on Sunday arrested father-son duo for murdering a 27-year-old woman. Father, Gurdas Singh (57), and Son, Jaswinder Singh (29), were caught while they were on their way to Sirhind Canal to dump the body. On Sunday, the police intercepted their SUV at a checkpoint on Chandigarh-Ludhiana highway.

The police stopped their SUV coming from Kharar side. Jaswinder was driving the car and his father was sitting in the passenger seat in the front.
When the police enquired them about the woman, they said that the woman was not well. They were taking her to their native place for treatment. The Police became suspicious and checked with the woman. The woman was found dead.

The victim was identified as Ranjit Kaur. She was a resident of Manakpur village, near Banur. She was working in Fortis Hospital in Mohali as class IV employee. The police have arrested the father-son duo. They both would be produced in a court of law on Monday.
Father-son owned a leading transport and Cab Service Company in Punjab.
