Happy Birthday Gautam Gambhir: Former Indian cricketer is celebrating his 38th birthday on Monday. The left-handed batsman has played several outstanding knocks for India. Former Indian cricketer has played crucial innings including 2007 T20 final and was a hero in the 2011 World Cup final. Now, Gauti has started new innings in the field of politics. Gambhir won the Lok Sabha election 2019 from the East Delhi constituency.

  • 150 (137)* vs Sri Lanka – 4th ODI 2009

It was his 7th ODI century when Sri Lanka batted first and scored 315-6 in 50 overs. While chasing, India lost two early wickets in the form of Sachin Tendulkar and Virendra Sehwag. Gambhir was at number 3 spot and scored a phenomenal 150 not out. Gauti hammered 14 boundaries and put a brilliant partnership of 224 runs. As a result, India won the match by 7 wickets.

  • 102 (101) vs Sri Lanka – 3rd ODI 2012

While chasing 287/5 against Sri Lanka, Sehwag went back to the pavilion, after which Gautam Gambir came on the crease. He kept smashing the ball across the field and smashed 10 boundaries. It was his 11th ODI century and the last in his international career.

In this match, India batted first and Gambhir opened the innings for India and played one of the best innings of his career. He played for 550 minutes and faced around 380 deliveries.
