Haryana police move court for arrest warrant against Hooda aide

Gurgaon, Mar 2 (PTI) Haryana Police today moved a court in Rohtak

to secure an arrest warrant against former Chief Minister Bhupinder

Singh Hooda's aide, who faces sedition charges following his alleged

involvement in provoking people during Jat quota agitation.

Virender Singh, a political advisor of Hooda, was allegedly shown

in a phone conversation with one of his aides Maan Singh Dalal directing

him to incite arsonists in Bahadurgarh area in Jhajjar district.

After the conversation went viral on social media on February 21,

Rohtak police booked Singh and Dalal under relevant IPC sections

of sedition charges.
