Hyderabad: Two trains collide at Kacheguda Railway Station

Hyderabad: Five people were injured when three coaches of Lingampalli-Falaknuma train and four coaches of Kurnool City-Secunderabad Hundry Express derailed after two trains collided at Kacheguda Railway Station on Monday.

As per South Central Railway (SCR) officials, one of the trains was an MMTS, while the other was an Intercity Express train. The rescue operation is underway.

An SCR official stated, "Both trains were moving slowly since they were within the station limits." Local police and other railway staff were providing first aid to the injured and shifting them to hospital at the time of filing of this report.
