Mayank Agarwal on Friday scored his second double hundred of his Test career on Friday. Playing against Bangladesh in the first innings of Indore Test on Friday, Agarwal completed his double century in 304 balls with 25 boundaries and 6 sixes.
He opened the innings along with Rohit Sharma. While Rohit Sharma was dismissed on day 1, Mayank remained calm and continued batting amazingly. Earlier, Agarwal had slammed a double century in the Vizag Test against South Africa.

On day 2, Cheteshwar Pujara was dismissed after scoring half-century and Virat Kohli went back to pavilion for a duck. Meanwhile, Mayank Agarwal kept his cool and picked the bad deliveries. Though there was a slight little partnership with Ajinkya Rahane, but Rahane became the target of Abu Jayed.
Abu Jayed is the only Bangaldesh bowler to dismiss India’s four wickets. Mayank Agarwal was in phenomenol form; however, his innings came to an end when Mehidy Hasan bowled an ordinary delivery. Mayank went down on his knees, mistimed the slog-sweep and found the man at deep mid-wicket where Abu Jayed took a fine catch. Bangladesh players went up to him and congratulated him.
Agarwal scored 243 runs off 330 balls including 28 boundaries and 8 sixes.
