Jallandhar police arrested youth with drug money

Jallandhar (Rural) police on Monday arrested  a youth with drug money of around Rs 6.50 lakh.The accused has been identified as Manbeer Singh , a resident of Village rajoke in tarn taran.The jalandhar police also claimed to have recovered one kilogram of heroine from his possession. The police also recovered a motorcycle from his possession.

The information was given by Navjot Singh Mahal ,Senior Superintendent of Police(SSP), Jallandhar (Rural).” The police officer said that the accused was arrested and was booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) act”.He further added that already one case under NDPS act has been registered against the accused in Jalandhar police station,”.
