MHA issues new guidelines for Unlock 3

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Wednesday issued guidelines for Unlock 3. The schools, colleges and coaching institutions will remain closed till August 31.

The government has removed the restrictions on the movement of individuals during the night. Meanwhile, the Yoga institutes and gymnasiums will be allowed to open from August 5, 2020.

Likewise, the Government of India stated that the lockdown shall continue to be implemented strictly in the Containment Zones till August 31, 2020.

All activities, except the following, shall be permitted outside containment zones - Metro Rail, cinema halls, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, bars, auditoriums, assembly halls and similar places.

However, social, political, sports, entertainment, academic, cultural and religious functions and other large congregations still not permitted.
