Ahmedabad-Navi Mumbai IndiGo flight diverted to Surat as 3-year-old falls unconscious on board

PTC News Desk: An IndiGo flight travelling from Ahmedabad to Navi Mumbai was diverted to Surat on Monday evening after a three-year-old child became unconscious during the journey, according to airport officials.
The child's condition suddenly worsened after the flight took off from Ahmedabad, and he lost consciousness while on board.
"Sensing the emergency, the pilot informed Air Traffic Control and the flight was diverted to Surat," the senior airport official said.
After being informed of the emergency, Surat airport activated its emergency response system. The airport's medical team, CISF personnel and IndiGo ground staff were immediately deployed to assist.
Once the aircraft landed in Surat, the medical team boarded the plane, provided first aid to the child and then rushed him to a private hospital for further treatment.
After the medical emergency was handled and all necessary technical and operational procedures were completed, the flight continued its journey to Navi Mumbai.
