PTC News Desk: With the NEET UG re-examination scheduled for June 21, authorities have adopted extraordinary security measures to ensure integrity of the test. The experts involved in setting the question paper for the medical entrance test have been put under strict lockdown at an undisclosed location.

The government has implemented extraordinary security measures for the upcoming NEET re-examination in an effort to avoid a repeat of the paper leak controversy that triggered widespread outrage earlier this year.

According to a report by The Times of India, all experts involved in preparing the NEET re-exam question paper have been isolated from external communication. Paper setters, moderators, translators and other personnel handling confidential stages of the examination process are being housed at a high-security facility under continuous supervision.

As part of the stringent protocol, mobile phones, laptops, smartwatches and other communication devices have been prohibited. Internet access has been blocked, communication with the outside world has been severely restricted and all movement into and out of the facility is being closely monitored and recorded. Access to the premises is limited to authorised personnel only.

The restrictions will remain in place until the June 21 re-examination is completed, reflecting the authorities' determination to safeguard the integrity of the examination process and prevent any possibility of another paper leak.
