Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan congratulated Virat Kohli and Indian cricket team on their first-ever historic victory against Australia on Tuesday. He tweeted, "Congratulations to Virat Kohli and the Indian cricket team for the first ever win by a subcontinent team in a test series in Australia.”

Indian cricket team began touring Australia in 1947-48 and this is the first time that India claimed victory in test series in Australia. Under Virat Kohli captaincy, Indian Cricket team gained its status as the world’s number one team by winning its first-ever series in Australia on Monday.
