PRTC bus falls in a drain in Faridkot: 15 injured in the incident

On Thursday morning, at least 15 passengers were injured as a PRTC bus fell in a drain in Faridkot district. The bus was heading towards Ferozpur from Faridkot and breaking a barrier near Golewala village it fell in a drain.

The bus was carrying 15 people, most of them are said to be government employees. Assistant Sub-Inspector Gurmej Singh said, “12 people have been discharged after first aid. At the same time, three people have suffered serious injuries. Most of the occupants of the bus were government employees.”

According to the report of national daily, the police said that the incident took place in the wee hours. The driver lost control over the vehicle when one of the tyres got burst. The injured were admitted to Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Fardikot.
