Minor brother-sister duo crushed to death as truck runs over them in Ludhiana

PTC News Desk: Seven-year-old Pinki and her five-year-old brother, Gopal, were killed after a speeding truck ran them over near their home on Shidwan Road, Ludhiana around 3 am on Wednesday. The bodies have been taken to the mortuary at the Civil Hospital.

Police have seized the truck involved in the accident, but the driver escaped from the spot after the incident.

While the exact circumstances leading to the deaths are still under investigation, preliminary findings suggest that overspeeding in dense fog caused the fatal accident.
