PTC New Desk: Shiromani Akali Dal MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal has demanded that a red corner notice must be issued against Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann alleging there is a strong possibility that he may flee the country.
The MP directly accused the Chief Minister of corruption, claiming that Bhagwant Mann had purchased 2,400 acres of land in Australia.
Criticising the government’s financial policies, Harsimrat said the AAP government had pushed Punjab into a debt trap. According to her, the state has been burdened with loans worth Rs 5 lakh crore. She warned that several major scams would come to light after the government leaves power in six months and said those involved in corruption would not be spared.
Harsimrat Badal also alleged that not only the Chief Minister but several of his MLAs are preparing to flee abroad. She warned that no matter where anyone goes in the world, they will have to account for every rupee of Punjab’s money. She added that the end of this “dictatorship” and “high-handed rule” is very near.
