Mohali, April 16: Keeping its poll promises, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab on Saturday announced 300 units of free power for households with effect from July 1.

The announcement comes as the CM Bhagwant Mann-led AAP government completes one month of governance on the day.

Providing free power to every household for up to 300 units was one of the key promises made by AAP in the run-up to the Punjab assembly elections in 2022.
