Rajasthan: Grooms's father fined 6.2 lakh after 15 out of 250 invitees contract COVID-19, groom’s grandfather dead

Rajasthan Government handed over a fine of Rs 6,26,600 on a groom’s father for violating the coronavirus norms by organising a lavish wedding in Bhilwara. While the limit of gathering in marriages has been limited to 50, 250 people were invited out of which 15 contracted with the novel virus while the groom’s grandfather died due to the pandemic.
