Students in Punjab can no longer drive a two-wheelers or cars to School

The school students below the age of 18 year have been barred from using two-wheelers, cars to commute between their homes and schools in Punjab.
The order to this effect was issued by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Kotkapura.
The step has been taken to prevent road mishaps and rash driving.
The traffic cops along with school authorities have been directed to ensure compliance of the order.
