In a tragic incident, at least three residential houses gutted into fire that broke out at Seribasa village in Chirgatn village in Shimla on Monday night.

According to a police official , three houses and a cattle shed have been reduced to ashes. Also, property worth around Rs 1.5 crore was lost in the fire.

According to a fire department official, the reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained but prima facie it looks like a case of a short circuit due to improper wiring.
