World Cup 2023: As excitement builds for the 2023 Men's Cricket World Cup, the ICC unleashes a captivating promo video featuring Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan as the narrator and a prominent figure towards the end. The two-minute-long video revolves around the tournament's motto, "All it takes is one day."

Shah Rukh Khan, known for his association with cricket as part-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL, beautifully articulates the emotions and sensations experienced during the pinnacle cricket event.


The video showcases iconic moments and fans of all 10 participating teams, evoking the passion and pride that ignite on that special day. Distinguished cricketers like Eoin Morgan, Dinesh Karthik, Jonty Rhodes, Muttiah Muralitharan, and India's rising star Shubman Gill make guest appearances. Jemimah Rodrigues, dancing with fellow Indian fans, adds to the electrifying atmosphere.

"Rivalries will be redefined on the pitch, and respect reimagined in the stands. The power of belief will emerge from the hearts of a billion. And when that day comes, and when that day finally comes, glory will be immortalized," Shah Rukh Khan passionately declares.


The 2023 World Cup returns to Asian soil after 12 years, with India playing host to a global carnival of cricket enthusiasts. The tournament commences on October 5, with England and New Zealand clashing in Ahmedabad's iconic Narendra Modi Stadium. The nation hopes for another memorable finale, akin to the victorious 2011 World Cup held on home ground.
