PTC Web Desk: In a moment straight out of a comedy script, a bird decided to give Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat broadcast a little extra “chirp” by unexpectedly perching on Goa Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte’s shoulder — just as the PM was literally talking about birds!

Rohan Khaunte was calmly tuning into the Sunday broadcast when this feathery guest crash-landed onto his shoulder, looking as if it had RSVP’d in advance. And the timing? Impeccable. At that exact moment, PM Modi was praising Assam’s Kaziranga National Park for its recent Grassland Bird Census, where over 40 species were identified using sound recorders and AI. Talk about birds syncing up across state lines!

The Goa minister, like a true wildlife whisperer, maintained his composure with a smile, letting the bird chill like it was a regular cabinet member.

“While the PM spoke of AI and tech spotting birds, this one went full analog,” joked one social media user. Another quipped, “Modi ji had Mann Ki Baat, Goa had Parindey Ki Baat!”

The PM had said, “When technology and sensitivity come together, understanding nature becomes easy.” Clearly, in Goa, nature just decided to show up without warning — and without needing AI.

Now we’re just wondering: does this bird get a portfolio too? Maybe ‘Minister of Unscheduled Appearances’!
