Another setback to Raja Warring, HC orders immediate release of impounded Orbit buses in Punjab
In another setback to Punjab Transport Minister Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has put a stay on action initiated by the former against Orbit bus company in Punjab.
The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Tuesday ordered to release all impounded Orbit buses within one hour and reinstate all permits cancelled by Punjab Transport Minister Amrinder Singh Raja Warring.

Earlier, in another case, on November 22, the Punjab and Haryana High Court had issued a notice, among others, to Punjab Transport Minister Amrinder Singh Raja Warring on a petition claiming that he was acting in furtherance of political vendetta.
He had cancelled the route permits of New Deep Bus Service owned by Hardeep Singh Dhillon.

Recently, at the insistence of the Punjab Transport Minister, three Orbit buses were impounded, which were on their way from Mohali to Rajpura. Amrinder Singh Raja Warring reportedly apologised to the passengers for inconvenience and they were dropped at the bus stand before the buses were taken to the police station.
