Another strike on Pakistan, says Amit Shah after India crushed Pakistan in World Cup 2019
Political leaders including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and others congratulated the Indian cricket team after the Men in Blue inflicted a humiliating 89-run defeat on their arch-rivals Pakistan in the 2019 ICC World Cup match. Amit Shah took to Twitter to react to the much-hyped match and called it India's yet "another strike on Pakistan". He went on to add that every Indian is proud of the impressive win. "Another strike on Pakistan by #TeamIndia and the result is same. Congratulations to the entire team for this superb performance. Every Indian is feeling proud and celebrating this impressive win. #INDvPAK," Amit Shah tweeted. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also applauded captain Virat Kohli-led team's "amazing" performance against Pakistan. "Congratulations to Indian cricket team for winning the match against Pakistan in #CWC2019. The Indian team played an amazing game of cricket for this victory. We are all proud of Team India," Rajnath Singh posted on Twitter. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Sports Kiren Rijiju tweeted: "I had already said that India would emerge victoriously, Pakistan would lose. Well done boys. Congratulations!" Railways Minister Piyush Goyal also extended wishes to the captain Virat Kohli-led team and said, "Congratulations to Team India for another stunning victory against Pakistan in the CWC 2019. I wish our men in blue all the luck in their march towards the coveted World Cup."
