Attack on Punjab Intelligence headquarters in Mohali captured in CCTV
Chandigarh, May 11: In a major development, investigating agencies have managed to get a CCTV footage of the grenade attack on Punjab Police Intelligence headquarters in Mohali, Punjab. Security agencies are analysing it for leads.
On May 9 evening, a rocket-propelled grenade was fired from the road which reached the third floor of the building, but didn’t explode, damaging windowpanes and computers.

Earlier, the Punjab Police arrested Nishant Singh, a resident of Kullah village in Patti tehsil of Tarn Taran district, in connection with the grenade attack case.
The 38-second CCTV footage shows a white-coloured car approaching towards the Punjab Intelligence headquarters in Sector 77 at Mohali, Punjab. An explosion is seen once the car approaches the building. Forensic experts are analysing the video.
Nishant Singh was currently living in Amritsar. He is already booked under several cases, including the NDPS Act.
On late Tuesday evening, the Punjab Police recovered a Russian rocket launcher used in the attack from a plot on the old Sohana road, which is less than 1km from the site.
