Banks likely to be closed from December 21 to 26
Banks in India are likely to be closed from December 21 to 26 as banks across the country will observe Bandh (strike ) on December 21 and 26 whereas the Christmas holidays lined up in between will hamper the banking services for five days.

According to industry reports, All India Bank Officers Confederation (AIBOC) has called for a strike on December 21 whereas another union, the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) has called another strike on December 26.

Banking activities, across the country will be affected on December 21 and 26 due to strike whereas December 22 is fourth Saturday, December 23 is Sunday and December 25 has been already declared a holiday.
