Bathinda: AIIMS Construction to begin on August 24th with Ground Breaking Ceremony After one-and-a-half years of laying of foundation stone, AIIMS, Bathinda construction to begin tomorrow with a ground breaking ceremony by Union food processing industries minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, officials said here on Thursday. The ceremony will take place at 10:30 am tomorrow. The ground breaking ceremony will be followed by Kirtan darbar at 7 pm, Maur dana mandi, Bathinda. Harsimrat Kaur Badal had earlier blamed the Capt Amarinder Singh-led Congress government for the delay in AIIMS Bathinda project.She said she would not even hesitate in staging a protest, if needed, to get the work started. “Things aren’t moving fast to start the construction of the institute ever since the Congress government was formed in the state because of its non-serious attitude,” Harsimrat Badal said earlier. -PTC News
