Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa tests positive; total number of cases in Punjab 46

The total number of cases in Punjab has increased to 46 after Former Hazuri Raghi of Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa tested positive for coronavirus in Amritsar on Wednesday. According to the information, he had recently visited England. Earlier today, three new positive cases were reported from Mohali. According to the information, two of them are the resident of Phase 9, Mohali, while one of them is from Jagatpura, the civil surgeon reported. They have been identified as Jagdish Kaur (76) female and Ekmavir (10) female, residents of Phase 9, Mohali. The third person tested positive on Wednesday has been identified as Kapil Sharma (55) a resident of Jagatpura. Meanwhile, both areas have been sealed.

Likewise, a 72-year-old female, Surinder Kaur, tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Ludhiana on Wednesday. Reportedly, she is a neighbour of Pooja, a 42-year-old woman who died in Ludhiana due to coronavirus on Monday. Death toll in Punjab

The death toll in Punjab has increased to 4 after a 65-year-old man who tested positive for COVID-19 in Nayangaon, Mohali, passed away on Tuesday. The first death was reported when a man, Baldev Singh, who died due to heart attack in Nawanshahr, and later tested positive for the coronavirus.
