Has Amitabh Bachchan tested negative for coronavirus?
Mumbai: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has tested negative for the novel coronavirus, a report suggested on Wednesday. However, Amitabh Bachchan has denied the reports and said, "this news is incorrect, irresponsible, fake, and an incorrigible LIE !!"
The Bollywood actor and his family members including Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya are admitted to the Nanavati hospital in Mumbai. The father-son duo had got themselves admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai after they tested positive for coronavirus earlier this month.
Likewise, Aishwarya and Aaradhya were also tested positive. While Aishwarya remained under home quarantine but she was admitted to the hospital after she developed symptoms.
After Amitabh Bachchan had tested positive for coronavirus, the actor had taken to Twitter and wrote: “I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests, results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !”

Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan had wished for Bachchan's recovery. He had written: "Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said in a tweet: “My best wishes for a young, brilliant actor with a most charming smile. Take good care of yourself dear Abhishek Bachchan & of your father Amitabh Bachchan ji too. I am sure both of you will bounce back to perfect health soon.”
