Breaches in Ludhiana's Buddha Nullah; water enters residential areas
Notwithstanding tall claims made by the Ludhiana civic body with regard to cleanliness of Buddha Nullah, incessant rain in the district has exposed its claims. Following heavy showers, several breaches were reported in Buddha Nullah, leading to a flood-like situation in residential areas.

Civic body workers were seen draining out water from residential areas with the help of motors. Commutes were a harassed lot even as vehicles of several people broke down due to waterlogging
