BSF seizes 11 packets of heroin on Indo-Pak border in Amritsar
The Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday recovered heroin from the border outposts (BOPs) on the India-Pakistan border in Amritsar district.
The contraband was contained in 11 packets, the BSF said.
BSF deputy inspector general (DIG) JS Oberoi said, BSF is on an alert and has already increased vigil on the Punjab border with Pakistan.
In a similar incident on March 13, BSF had recovered 9 packets of heroin.
