BSF shoots dead 'Pakistani' intruder in Gurdaspur
The Border Security Force (BSF) on Tuesday thwarted an infiltration bid along the India-Pakistan border in Punjab's Gurdaspur. An alleged Pakistani intruder was shot dead by the security forces while he was trying to infiltrate along the international border near Basantar post in the Dera Baba Nanak area. According to information, the intruder was shot dead while he was trying to climb the fence in the wee hours on Tuesday. Likewise, a drone was also spotted near the Basantar post in the Dera Baba Nanak area. BSF recovered a mobile phone and Pakistani currency from the youth. On Sunday night, the Border Security Force (BSF) had spotted a suspected Pakistani drone near the India-Pakistan border in Punjab’s Gurdaspur. The drone was coming from the Pakistan side of the Kasowal border outpost in Gurdaspur. The BSF personnel spotted the drone and opened fire at it, firing 5 rounds. -PTC News
