Case of fraud registered against AAP's Subhash Sehgal

Amritsar, May 19: Police have registered a case against AAP leader Subhash Sehgal, a resident of Aman Avenue, and his accomplice Prabhjot Kaur alias Jasmine Kaur, a resident of Guru Ramdas Nagar Putlighar, on the pretext of false promises by Amritsar’s AAP leader of settling youngsters in abroad. The case has been lodged against Subhash Sehgal, owner of Sehgal Overseas by Pooja, a resident of Shakti Nagar, alleging that Sehgal overseas owner Subhash Sehgal and his partner Jasmine had taken Rs 2.60 lakh in the name of sending Pooja’s sons Hrithik and Sahil to Dubai but false promises were made as neither their son was given a job nor arrangements were made for him to stay. The children spent the night in a car park in Sharjah, Dubai. As stated by the victim's parents on December 10, they paid Rs 1.30 lakh to Subhash Sehgal and on December 17 their son Hrithik and Sahil were sent to Dubai and paid the rest amount of Rs 1.30 lakh afterward. ਸੁਭਾਸ਼ ਸਹਿਗਲ 'ਤੇ ਕਬੂਤਰਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਤਹਿਤ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ For a few days, the children were given adequate food and shelter. They were later evicted and their passports were confiscated. The matter was investigated by ACP North Palwinder Singh. Parents of the victim demanded from the police administration that the accused should be arrested as soon as possible so that no one else could fall into their clutches.
