Punjab Assembly elections 2022:
Shiromani Akali Dal's candidate Charanjit Singh Brar who contested the Punjab Assembly elections 2022 from the Rajpura constituency. He has been appointed as political secretary to the party president Sukhbir Singh Badal in March 2019. However, he lost the battle as he bagged only 15006 votes.
