China's Ambassador to India visits Golden Temple, Amritsar
China’s ambassador to India Luo Zhaohui’s remarks in Amritsar on Friday on last year's Doklam stand-off between the two countries is likely to draw a lot of attention from pundits dealing with national security and strategic affairs.
But the Chinese official also became the latest in a series of foreign dignitaries to visit the stunning Golden Temple over the years.
“That page (the Doklam row) has already been turned over. We have reached a consensus to look forward. So I am happy and optimistic for our bilateral relations,” Zhaohui said.
