A close aide of sitting MLA Baljinder Kaur, Satindarpal Singh Sidhu along with his supporters joined Shiromani Akali Dal on Thursday.

President of Shiromani Akali Dal, Sukhbir Singh Badal, warmly welcomed Satinderpal Singh and his supporters by honouring them with saropa. Welcoming them into the party, Sukhbir Badal said that by joining SAD, he has given a great honour to the party.
