Congress and AAP will not enter into Alliance, says Sheila Dikshit Delhi Unit Chief, Shielia Dixit on Tuesday announced that Congress and Aam Admi Party will not enter into an alliance for upcoming elections. Congress President Rahul Gandhi called a meeting of all Delhi unit leaders to discuss the possibility of an alliance. Shielia Dixit told the media that a unanimous decision has been taken that there will be no alliance in Delhi. The decision came after the AAP announced six candidates for seven seats in Delhi. Earlier AAP party has been sending feelers to the Congress party for a pre-poll alliance for quite a while now but was rejected. Arvind Kejriwal said in a recent public meeting that he was tired of convincing Congress for a tie-up to defeat BJP, but it did not understand the issue.
