Congress leaders strike at ‘Chhole Bhature’ in Delhi on “Hunger Strike”
The so called “hunger strike” by Indian National Congress proved to be a controversy in itself even before party President Rahul Gandhi arrived at Rajghat on Monday morning.
Among other controversies, the Congress leaders who were determined to protest and stay on a ‘bhook hartal’ (hunger strike) were seen striking plates full of Chhole Bhature, as per a tweet shared by Harish Khuranna, son of Madan Lal Khurana, here, on Monday afternoon.
वहाँ रे हमारे कांग्रिस के नेता,लोगों को राज घाट पर अनशन के लिए बुलाया है और ख़ुद एक रेस्तराँ में बैठ कर छोले भटूरे के मज़े ले रहे हो ।

Even before Congress president Rahul Gandhi reached Rajghat in Delhi to participate in a protest hunger strike on Monday, senior party leaders Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar were asked to leave, according to media reports.
Both leaders, who are facing criminal cases for their role in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, were reportedly asked to stay away from the event.
The so called day-long fast, organised by the Delhi Pradesh Congress, is to promote social harmony in the wake of caste violence reported during the ‘Bharat bandh’ on April 2.
