Congress MLA Kulbir Singh Zira's personal assistant sent to one day police remand
A local court sent Congress MLA Kulbir Singh Zira personal assistant Neeraj Sharma alias Ginni to one day police remand after he was arrested by Punjab Police on murder charges. He was produced before the Duty Magistrate Vikramjit Singh on Monday.

Neeraj Sharma was declared proclaimed offender (PO) by a court in a murder case of photographer Rajesh Kaura since July 2015.

The Punjab police had held Neeraj Kumar from Moga in Punjab on Monday. The police had also recovered .32 bore pistol and 20 live cartridges from him.

Earlier, on Monday Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) President Sunil Jakhar had issued a notice seeking explanation from Member of Legislative assembly , Kulbir Singh Zira for his public outburst against the State government and administration during oath taking ceremony of Panches and sarpanches. PPCC Chief had sought response from Kulbir Singh Zira within three days.
