Congress MLA Surjit Singh Dhiman resigns as Vice President of PPCC Congress MLA Surjit Singh Dhiman resigned from the post of Vice President of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee and as the delegate member of Punjab Congress party on Saturday. Dhiman is the current MLA from Amargarh constituency, that falls under Sangrur district. He won the last assembly elections held in 2017 by defeating its nearest opponent Iqbal Singh Jhundan of SAD with a margin of 11879 votes. Meanwhile, Nathuram resigns from the post of Joint secretary of President of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee and as the delegate member of Punjab Congress Party. Congress MLA Sangat Singh Gilzian on Friday resigned from AICC and as vice president of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee after learning that he had not been included in the expanded state Cabinet. Gilzian, who represents Urmar seat in Hoshiarpur and was a member of All India Congress Committee. -PTC News
