Coronavirus cases in Punjab rise to 2028; death toll 39; recovered 1819

The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 2028 after just 23 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, as of Thursday evening. The death toll in the state has increased to 39 after a new death was reported from Amritsar. According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department, Amritsar reported 5 new cases of coronavirus while Hoshiarpur reported 7 new cases. Gurdaspur reported 4 new cases of coronavirus while Pathankot and Ludhiana reported two new cases each. Likewise, Barnala, Kapurthala, and Patiala reported one new case each. A total of 25 patients have been declared cured and discharged in the last 24 hours. Of 25 recovered cases, 13 from Jalandhar, 8 from Muktsar, and 2 each from Fazilka and Mohali. Five New Cases of Corona in Hamirpur | Himachal Latest News Amritsar is on the top of the tally as it has reported 313 COVID-19 cases so far followed by Jalandhar at 210, Ludhiana at 171, and Tarn Taran at 155. Gurdaspur has 129 cases of coronavirus while SBS Nagar stands at 105 cases. Patiala has reported 104 cases. Mohali, which has been declared corona-free, had reported 102 cases Hoshiarpur tally also stands at 102. Sangrur tally of coronavirus cases stands at 88 and Muktsar at 65. Faridkot has reported 61 cases so far while a total of 59 cases have been reported from Moga, 60 from Ropar, 56 from Fatehgarh Sahib. Mansa has recorded 32 cases while 31 cases have been reported from Pathankot and 34 from Kapurthala. 22 cases of coronavirus cases have been reported from Barnala so far.
