Fresh cases of coronavirus reported in Nawanshahr; total cases in Punjab 21
The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has jumped to 21 after 7 fresh cases were reported in Nawanshahr, Rajinder Bhatia, Senior Medical Officer (SMO), Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar said on Sunday. According to the information, seven people, who have tested positive for coronavirus in Nawanshahr, had contact with Baldev Singh, who died in Banga civil hospital earlier this week.
Likewise, Baldev Singh's six family members were tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday. In the meanwhile, Mohali has recorded 4 cases of the pandemic so far. Amritsar reported another positive case of coronavirus on Saturday. A Hoshiarpur-resident was found positive for Coronavirus in Amritsar, earlier this month.
