Coronavirus: With fall in daily cases, Delhi CM says time to ‘gradually unlock’

Amid a decline in daily new cases of coronavirus, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said that it was time to 'gradually unlock'. Arvind Kejriwal said that the positivity rate has come down to 1.5 percent and around 1,100 coronavirus cases have been reported in the last 24 hours in Delhi. "This lockdown will last till 5 am on Monday and we will begin the unlock process in Delhi, said Kejriwal, adding that the construction activities and factories will be reopened from Monday keeping the daily wage workers in mind. He said that every week, they will consider opening the lockdown as per the suggestions. "Everyone has to follow COVID appropriate behaviour and people won't follow these guidelines and cases will escalate, the lockdown will have to be re-imposed. Amid a decline in daily new cases of coronavirus, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said that it was time to 'gradually unlock'. He also urged people to get out of the house only if it is very important as it was a very critical time. Meanwhile, the Union Health Ministry stated that at 1.86 lakh cases, a declining trend in new cases continued while daily new cases were lowest in the last 44 days.
