COVID-19 positive patient ends life in PGI, Chandigarh
In a shocking incident, a 42-year-old coronavirus-positive patient allegedly committed suicide at PGI Chandigarh on Thursday. According to the information, the man jumped off the fourth floor of Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh. Likewise, a Covid patient ended his life by hanging himself inside his room in the Covid ward of Civil Hospital in Ludhiana. He was allegedly upset with a financial problem. Amid the coronavirus crisis, the PGI Chandigarh Director Dr. Jagat Ram stated that the medical institute has run out of ICU beds dedicated to Covid-19 patients. Corona Curfew in Chandigarh In the wake of the increasing number of coronavirus cases, the Chandigarh Administration has decided to impose a “corona curfew” in the city from 6 pm to 5 am every day.
