Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced the same via his Twitter account. "DDMA withdraws all restrictions as the situation improves and people facing hardships due to loss of jobs. Schools to function fully offline from 1 April. Fines for not wearing masks reduced to Rs 500," he said.

The decision to end the night curfew in Delhi and reopen schools was taken as Covid-19 cases have come down. Also, there were concerns over people facing hardships due to loss of businesses. Delhi Government will, however, ensure people follow Covid-19 safety norms, said Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. This comes as a major relief to Delhites who have been facing hardships due to Covid restrictions imposed in the national capital. However, there are students who are continuously requesting the Governments to conduct the final board exams online. Giving them a major setback, the Supreme Court, recently, quashed the plea seeking cancellation of offline board exams, stating that such pleas give students false hope.
