Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim got day’s parole ‘secretly’
Ram Rahim news: In a shocking development, the Haryana government led by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar granted Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim a day's parole secretly on October 24.
The Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim is imprisoned in Rohtak as he was convicted in cases of rape and murder.
According to the information, he was granted parole to meet his ailing mother who is hospitalised in Gurgaon. He was taken under heavy security from Sunaria Jail to the Gurgaon hospital on October 24.

Reportedly, Ram Rahim stayed with his mother till the evening. As per the report, three companies of Haryana police were involved. These include a company with 80-100 jawans.

The Dera Sacha Sauda chief was transported from jail and back in a police vehicle with curtains. The vehicles, in Gurgaon, were parked in the basement of hospital while the entire floor was vacated where his mother was under treatment.
The sources stated that only Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and a few senior Haryana government officials had information about the Ram Rahim's parole. The transportation was apparently carried out on the instructions of the Bharatiya Janata Party's top brass.
In fact, the jawans were also not aware of the identity of the person that they were escorting, the report stated.
