Development Tax of Rs. 200 per month on income tax payees proposed in Punjab Budget
As a part of govt’s additional source mobilization measures, Manpreet Badal proposed development tax of Rs. 200 per month On the income tax payees citing example of Tamil Nadu Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka where this tax collection is already being implemented
During Budget presentation Finance Minister Manpreet Badal announced that govt will bring in a legislation to impose development tax of Rs 200 per month on income tax payees of the state.
