Dinesh Singh (MLA-Sujanpur)
Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Indian politician Dinesh Singh is a member of the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP). He was born on June 17, 1962, in the village of Manwal, Pathankot. He is an MLA from Sujanpur and has also served as Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly. In 2007, 2012, and 2017, Dinesh Singh was elected to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. He served as the 14th Punjab Vidhan Sabha's Deputy Speaker and as the ex-officio Chairman of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha's House Committee during his tenure as Deputy Speaker. Sujanpur MLA Dinesh Singh has also served as Chief Parliamentary Secretary of Punjab's Food and Civil Supplies Department, Member of the Committee on Petitions and the Punjab Vidhan Sabha's Committee on Public Undertakings, and held various positions such as Mandal President of Yuva Morch, BJP, and General Secretary of the ABVP, Pathankot.
