Investment in Punjab is now Easy, Sukhbir tells Ambassadors
Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal held consultation with the ambassadors of 18 leading countries in Delhi. Mr Badal apprised them off the facilities "Invest Punjab" is going to provide in setting up business in the state. Prominent countries, which participated included US, China, UK, Spain, Autralia, Sweden, Korea and others. Talking about the business prospects in Punjab, Mr Badal added that Punjab has done away with bureaucratic delay and investing in Punjab has become easy now. Time has come when investors can get their files cleared in the time frame of just 30 days. To make investment simpler, Punjab has set up NRI police, which exclusively deals with the issues of NRIs.
