'Khichdi 2' teaser out: Get ready for adventurous roller-coaster with Parekh family
'Khichdi 2' teaser out: The teaser for 'Khichdi 2' was released on Saturday, and it left the audience in awe.
The film is an adventurous roller-coaster ride written and directed by Aatish Kapadia and produced by Jamnadas Majethia (JD). It stars the incomparable Supriya Pathak Kapoor, Jamnadas Majethia (JD), Rajeev Mehta, Anang Desai, Vandana Pathak, and Kirti Kulhari. Pratik Gandhi made a cameo in the teaser as well.
The brief trailer began with a display of scenic landscapes, with a voiceover stating that every mission is impossible at first and that some are finished by Tiger, while others are taken over by Pathaan. Then we were introduced to members of the Parekh family and their encounters with thrilling situations in their daily lives.
Netizens have given the teaser a thumbs up.
"Wow... can't wait for the film," said one social media user.
"World best picture bhaishaaabbb," said another.
The film, set against the backdrop of Diwali, "seamlessly weaves themes of unity, humanity, forgiveness, and the enduring power of family bonds," according to a press release.
'Khichdi began out as a stage play. It is centred on the eccentricities of a Gujarati mixed family living in Mumbai. It was then adapted into a sitcom, web series, and film. The adventure comedy sequel will now be released 13 years after the first film.
'Khichdi 2 - Mission Paanthukistan' will be released on November 17.
