On April 18, the mother-to-be revealed that she is expecting her first child with husband Satyadeep Misra. Many Bollywood celebrities, including Ananya Panday and Shilpa Shetty, congratulated the couple. Masaba's mother, Neena Gupta, shared a cute post for the soon-to-be parents.

The expectant parents made the announcement on social media, writing, "In other news - Two little feet are on their way to us! Please send love,blessings and banana chips ( plain salted ONLY) #babyonboard #mom&dad (sic)."
Masaba's mother, actor Neena Gupta, congratulated the couple in a sweet note. It stated, "Humare bacchon ka baccha aane Wala hai. Isse zyada Khushi ki baat Kya ho sakti hain (The child of our children is about to arrive. What could be happier than this?)."
Aside from the soon-to-be grandmother, Ananya Panday, Shilpa Shetty, Parineeti Chopra, and other celebrities wished the couple congratulations.
